Charities We Support

As Christians, we firmly believe in financially supporting charitable organizations that seek to alleviate human suffering and reach children, youth, and families in crisis with the love of Jesus Christ. We have chosen three domestic charities and three foreign charities that we know personally and are committed to donating 10% of Heirloom Bake Shoppe's proceeds each month to the organizations listed below.

They are a not-for-profit organization with a team of registered nurses, health care professionals, educators and volunteers who provide a range of health services free of charge, and have supported women and their loved ones through unplanned pregnancies in the Windsor-Essex County area for over 30 years.

Their vision is to provide compassionate, professional care that empowers individuals to make informed decisions regarding pregnancy and sexual health.

Mexico lacks a government-run foster system. Due to this, the abused,  impoverished, and neglected children resort to the streets. Mexico City alone has over 25,000 homeless children!

The orphanage provides a safe, stable, and secure home where the children experience true love, have their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs met, and where they can get an education and learn valuable life lessons to prepare them for a better future. Little Hands also helps connect these orphans with a loving adoptive family.

Teen Challenge in London, Ontario, is a 12-month, faith-based, in-residence drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that offers spiritual, academic and vocational training to help equip individuals to return to society as responsible citizens.

A large number of graduates have experienced complete recovery from drug and alcohol addiction, and testify that the key to their success was developing a personal relationship with God and putting into practice all that they had learned in the program.

At Lifesong Harmony School in Kitwe, Zambia, 650 orphaned students from pre-school to grade 12 are fed two meals a day and given a quality education to provide them the tools to transition into adult living. As they near the end of their secondary school enrollment, the students have the option to pursue post-academic studies or learn a trade at the new Lifesong Vocational & Technical Centre (LVTC).

Their mission is to care for the children's physical needs while providing them with a quality education and Godly discipleship.

BridgeNorth’s mission is to restore the inherent dignity and value of sexually exploited women and girls by meeting their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs.

The program is survivor-led by persons with lived experience who have successfully exited from human trafficking and now work alongside women and girls to help prevent them from being trafficked in the first place or empower them to exit ‘the life’ completely.

Thailand is a country of origin, destination, and transit for sex trafficking. Child prostitution in Thailand is a huge problem, with close to 40,000 children, mainly girls, under the age of 16 believed to be in the sex trade, working in clubs, bars, and brothels.

After rescuing women and children who have been trafficked, they are housed in a safe location, provided emotional and physical support, and taught necessary life skills that will help them become self-sustaining and able to transition into a healthy lifestyle.
